Bersih 3.0 - Clean & Fair!

28 APRIL 2012 - This day, many Malaysians out there are protesting in different cities, different states as well as in different countries in hope that our Malaysian government will promise us a fair election in the next coming election which should be taking place in 2013.

Around the globe, all eyes are on Malaysia today~ Especially on NAJIB

3.0 means it's the 3rd Bersih rally. As far as I know, people from 29 countries are participating in this rally. Just to name a few, UK, USA, Japan, Australia, Singapore, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong...... the official ones are concentrated in 71 cities (info from malaysia-today.net).

The rally was not a violent act, it was carried out peacefully where people just show up to support and voice out their concern. Supporters are seen wearing yellow t-shirts since that's the official colour for bersih. It was kinda touching to see so many Malaysian suddenly realised the direction Malaysia is heading with the current governtment that is going to drive Malaysia into the pits.  

Just some small facts about Malaysia that our government is trying to hide:
1) Malaysia elections were unfair, there were so many phantom votes, dead people's vote, bought votes, and foreigner votes : currently we just found out there are expiry dates on certain IC (identification cards) whereby it was given to illegal immigrants in Malaysia so that they can vote for the current government BN (dominant by UMNO party) in exchange for citizenship.

2) Some innocent individuals were killed when they stood up for justice. In Malaysia, if you have a strong 'evidence' that is going to tarnish the good image of some of the dirty government officials or institutions such as the Malaysian Anti-corruption Commission (MACC), you'll be captured and disposed off like Teo Beng Hock, read his story here.

Have you ever heard of the story of the mongolian model killed in Malaysia in 2006? The suspect who planned the murder (almost everyone in Malaysia knows this) is now the current Malaysian Prime Minister. Surprise? Do you think the people in Malaysia actually want thins? No... but we don't have a choice, we don't have the power, we were afraid to stand up in case we get killed too. The mongolian model murder case was not the first or the last one, but it is the most famous one.

3) There is really no freedom of speech. Some hidden authorities will catch you... beware beware... Even blogging can get you in trouble for example, Raja Petra. I guess I should too! :X

Anyways, it's really not that scary in Malaysia, our economy is still well, just that it's not heading the right direction with our government keep spending money foolishly, ended up going into the pockets of only a number of people. It's getting unhealthy. I mean if you wanna steal money, make sure you help build the country too so that it's sustainable.

There are many policies that the current government had created ended up in a mess. Our education system used to be very good during my parent's generation where lots of smart people, bright leaders and amazing entrepreneurs were brought up. But now... I think schools are not helping those 'smart resources' to grow. Instead the smart ones are not really appreciated, sometimes due to their ethnicity, some because they don't cover their hairs as a muslim. 

Malaysians are amazing... All around the world they have made many employers impressed with their amazing skills, abilities, or even just as a good person. 

Inequality of wealth in Malaysia had risen, with Gini Coefficient at 46.21% in 2009 (source: World Bank). And GDP per capita was reported at USD 5,185 (RM 15,775) and GNI per capita is USD 7,760 (RM 23,609) for the year 2010. 

 In layman's term, each person BY AVERAGE is earning RM 15,775 (Gross Domestic Product) or RM 23,609 (Gross National Income) yearly. 

However, I think a salary of  RM1,200 per month or even lower which is seen as an common salary in Sabah is considered very low compared to the average mentioned above. With a degree you'll get about RM 1,800 and if you're good you go up to about RM3,500 only after many years. A professional or managers can get about RM5,000 to RM10,000 but not many people are in this range of salary. In Sabah especially, our salary is so much lower compared to the West Malaysia that some people are only being paid < RM 600 per month. 

Besides, the living cost in Malaysia is so high nowadays that I think buying food in UK is so much cheaper comparably. Imagine I can get 4 yogurts at 33p (~RM 1.62), 1 litre milk at 49p (RM 2.41), a tray of 15 eggs at £1.25 (RM0.41 per egg), 6 amazingly deliciously cute chocolate muffins at 90p (~RM4.43). It makes me want to stay in UK! Imagine if I work here getting a pay of let's say £1,500 office rate or even if you work part time it's £7-8 per hour, you can save up so much money on food! With £60 allowance I can pay my phone bills (£10 + skype £9.99) and pamper myself with nice food and chocolates :3

My weekly rent is £93 which includes electricity+water+internet bills, furnished room, a cleaner that comes twice a week plus maintenance if your lights or electrical equipment is broken. The transport here is convenient, good and clean health facilities are covered for everyone, and there is welfare if you have no job. If you're sick, you get clean and good medical attention and medicines for free or at just a minimum fee. With extra money you can travel all around for holiday every year, fill your house with figurines, or even start your own business easily. With good life, people are nicer to each other!

Malaysia can have this too! If you have never gone out of the country, you might not know how much life in other countries are so much better compared to Malaysia. We need a good government. We can do this!

Moena's Omurice (｡'▽'｡)♡

I was feeling a bit down today so I thought of making omurice to cheer myself up. I used 2 eggs for the omelette and I fried rice with ketchup, onions, hotdogs and other 'secret' ingedients, hehe. 

When the time comes for me to draw on my omurice, I was stunned! I don't have any ketchup that come in a squeeze bottle! Orz.... So, I ransacked my fridge and took out the thousand island dressing to draw on it.... Well, I don't know what to draw and the eyes turns out terrible because the tip of the bottle was so thick... I wanted to give up but then I remembered my baked beans left over from last night dinner. Aha! Mr. Panda slowly came into shape~

Neliel Tu Oderschvank - Bleach Cosplay

Former Espada No.3 - Neliel Tu Oderschvank is my all time favourite character in Bleach! However, I have no idea why they want to write her out of Bleach so fast >.<

I was very a bit fat compared to my Nel in Hobbycon 2010, ehehe... I blame all the delicious holiday season food XD 

Finally I had the mood to sort some of my files. This shot was from my camera by Grace, yes I love my little sony and my cousin! ^_^ 

Anyways there are even more awesome shots taken by Christine Lee, Mien and the others but I was in a hurry to get back to UK so I didn't manage to get the full resolution photos. I'll add them here when I can.

I was a bit picky in choosing the photos for Nel because she gives me this kakkoii feeling yet mischievous when she's not serious. It was a big challenge for me to do her expression and I spoiled most of the pics with my silly face ^^" 

When this cosplay first debuted in hobbycon 2010, I was not really satisfied because I did not finish the costume :X

For this 2012 shoot, I adjusted the costume slightly, added the collar, sew some parts and reduced some fabric *kofkof* so that it's more accurate to the anime version. Previously I kept the skirt long due to not wanting to flash my pantsu around the shopping mall <.< '

Thanks to my sis Becky for arranging the photoshoot, helping me to draw the '3' tattoo and helping me pin my top part when the zip broke while I was trying to wear it, fatness overload T.T

New Loot!

My wigs have arrived! As you know, I ordered some wigs from ebay last month because I was trying to cut my own hair and messed up :X.

These are the wigs I ordered were from different sellers but they're both very cheap, it was on discount and the other one comes with free shipping.

I was so happy to get it and finally I have a bit spare time to try it on. Here's my camwhoring photos with my lovely wigs~!

The wig I received has a lighter colour than the one in the seller's photo. The curl was different but anyways I like this colour more! >v<

This one was extremely curly! I was speechless when I took it out. I guess the seller must have stole the photo from somewhere else. It's like a totally different style! But then, I kinda like this style too ♥

Nya~ so fun! I felt like a totally different person whenever I get to put on different wigs~ v(●´U`●)v

Easter Egg?

I found this egg at MCM Expo Birmingham last week...

It hatched almost immediately on top of my legs on the way back since my aunt was driving extremely fast in her sports car XD 

(farewell to the good old days of hatching eggs on bicycle~!)

I was a bit disappointed because I couldn't keep her as an egg until Easter today. Togepi was too afraid I might eat her since I love to eat so much :X

バイバイ~!

Enter Into Bleachverse

Bleach is one of my all time favorite anime, I feel like I've been growing up with it! LOLZ! Been with it for 5-6 years! The drawing, storyline, the many unique characters, and the anime's creativity all adds up attracting me to this anime. I'm a bit picky with anime at that time but this one easily caught my attention. Not to mention, they have the most awesome songs by numerous famous artist! Well there are some glitches and flaws in the plot but overall it's in one of my top 5 favorite anime list ^-^ 

I watch Anime when I eat my meals :)

I know I'm a bit lagging behind in the episodes - was waiting for it to pile up. Now I'm able to enjoy few episodes a day without trying to flip my table upside down whenever I have to wait a whole week for it to air.

Now, shall we have a tour in Bleach の世界 ?

One day, you found yourself as transfer student in Karakura Highschool.

And somehow you end up in the same class as Ichigo, Ishida, Chado, Mizuiru and Keigo. You were sitting in front of Chad and they seem to be making lots of noise behind so you turned around and look at them.

Keigo was grabbing Ichigo while saying to you: "Hey, transfer student! Make sure you don't piss off this orange haired deliquent. He is the scariest one in the whole school. Don't let his dumbness fool you. 

Ishida: "Aren't you the one pissing him off now?"

You muttered: "Err... thanks for the advice. I'll be careful not to talk to him." You blushed and quickly turn back towards the front of the class as you don't really know how to react, and you realised you've just muttered something stupid and regretted it. 

Ichigo: "Oi Keigo, stop scaring our new transfer student like that!" Ichigo jumps out of Keigo's grasp and  walked to the front of your table. "Ano...please don't believe what Keigo said, my name is Kurosaki Ichigo. Nice to meet you, please let me know if anyone bullies you in school since you're new and you look err...etto, how should I put it..."

"Shy and fragile." Ishida push his megane up and ended the sentence for him.

You look down to your desk and avoided ichigo's eyes, because you felt uneasy with those few guys staring towards you from the back, and the fact that Ichigo is talking to you so sincerely is not helping. You just want to be invinsible. And you were so embarrassed that what Ishida said was head on! So you just knod your head once and somehow shrink a bit, intimidated by ichigo's presence.  

Mizuiro: "Ichigo, aren't you the one scaring her now?" 

Chad knod once in agreement.

Ichigo look bewildered. "Mou!!!" (means fed up). "Will you guys drop it already?"

RINGGGG************** It's lunch time! 

Maybe they will rush off to lunch and forget about me.

And true to your thoughts, as your eyes were still on the desk, you heard the moving of chairs indicating they are leaving. Ishida spoke before the ringing even end, "Ichigo, let's go before all the good food gets taken. Or did your sister Yuzu-chan make any bento for you today?"

"Nope, she wasn't feeling so well yesterday so I told her I'll get my own lunch and prohibit her from waking up early today." Ichigo replied with soft words. You thought to yourself, this person is such a kind brother, wish you had one like him too.

Keigo: "Then what are we waiting for, let's go~!"

The rest of them headed for the classroom door while Ichigo called up to them, "Go ahead without me, I'll catch up later"

Ishida thought. 'Always the good guy eh'. "We'll see ya later". And they were gone, except the orange hair dude who is still staring at you.

"Ano   your name  -san, would you like to join me and my friends for lunch at the cafeteria? Since you're not familiar with any other classmates yet."

"Uhm,.. sumimasen, I brought my own bento today, I was thinking of eating in the garden." You are uneasy with guys, so you'd naturally avoid them.

"Sou ka." and he suddenly shouted, "Inoue, are you girls going down to the garden?" 

"Unhu" She nods merrily as she looks at Ichigo. "Well, bring her along will ya?" 

"Hai hai" Answered the girls.

- At the Garden -

Lunch break~ You're happy to have lunch with the girls from the class. Hmm, looking across to Orihime's bento, ah! Sausage with dark brown and clear yellow sauce? Your eyes stared at it for a moment wondering what is it and how does it taste like. 

Orihime either read your mind or noticed you were looking intensely at her sausage. "Nee~   your name   -san, would you like to try one of my sausage? It's really nice, I invented the recipe myself, it's sausage with chocolate and honey!"

You gulp and decline due to politeness. 

"Eh, you don't have to be shy   your name   -san. Here~" Orihime picked up the sausage with her chopsticks and leaned nearer to you. "Ahhh~!" It was too sudden, you opened your mouth by reflex >//w//< *You munch it with happiness* You're fond of sweet food yourself! The combination of the sausage + chocolate + honey taste was brilliant!!!

Tatsuki: "Oi Orihime, don't force people to eat your weird food! What if   your name   -san gets a stomach ache?"

"Hehee... she seems to be enjoying it." Orihime beamed. You smiled and knod your head in agreement while munching the sausage in the mouth :)

Chizuru: "Inoue, please feed sausage into my mouth too!" *Chizuru's pervert mode ON* O.O" 

Tatsuki glared at Chizuru, sending a 'hands off or I'll give you a beating' warning.

- Be part of the Kurosaki Family~!

Yuzu: "Have a seat nee-san~. I hope you don't mind the simple meal prepared"

Ichigo: "Yuzu, didn't I told you not to put so much strain on your body, you're still stick."

Karin: "I helped her out plus it's only a simple meal so it's not big deal."

Yuzu: "Don't worry onii-san, though I'm very happy you're so attentive of me." 

Meanwhile their dad was stuck to the door because he wanted to perform body checkup for you for free was over friendly towards you. Isshin is a doctor by the way.

- In Ichigo's Room -

 Kon is flying towards you shouting "nee-san~! Please save me" *trying to land on your soft spot :X* 

Kon was teasing Ichigo for bringing a girl into his room and being unfaithful to Rukia. Ichigo punches Kon mercilessly and blurt out that this and that is not related at all! They're only just friends!

 And lastly, gulp.... 

'Ichigo, why are you staring at me like that?' You think to yourself

Ichigo: "You look so stressed out"

Ichigo: "Cheer up!"

 

 *Ichigo suddenly nudge your forehead - even the screen shakes for a moment* Ehh!!!!

  

 

 

'Why is he giving me that kind of stare and smile?' *ba-dump*

*Ichigo is slightly blushing too*

Owkay, I could actually write forever and end up with panda eyes... I have the whole story unveiled naturally in my head but I don't have the time to write it properly, don't wanna end up with panda eyes tomorrow =.= I could have written out a whole bleach movie script! >v<

Seems like Bleach is trying to boost Ichigo's popularity, this is gonna make some fan girls scream (｡≧∀≦)/ ~♥ Kyaa~

P.S. kof kof, luckily i'm not a die heart fan of ichigo... or else I shall be repeating that scene over and over again XD
